People behind B1 and B2 in ‘Bananas in Pyjamas’ are real-life couple

‘Batang 90’s’ can surely relate to this article. When we talk about our childhood, we can’t help but feel nostalgic. Those were the days when internet was not fully appreciated. And the only form of entertainment was watching television. One of our favorite children shows is the lovable Bananas in Pyjamas.

Started on July 20, 1992, Bananas in Pyjamas is an Australian children’s television series about two anthropomorphic bananas named B1 and B2. They lived in a village called “Cuddles Avenue”, where they are neighbors to Amy, Lulu, Morgan, and Rat in a Hat.

For 20 years, these iconic characters surely entertained us with memorable episodes and catchy songs. However, after their final episode aired in 2012, many are wondering as to what happen to the cast and where are they now?

In one of The Greatest Dancer’s episodes, viewers took a trip down memory lane after a contestant named Mark Short revealed that at some point, he played B1 in Bananas in Pyjamas.

Surely knowing B1 and B2 are identical twins,everyone is eager to know what the other banana was up to. Short mentioned that he and Ashley, the person who played B2 have been in a loving relationship for a long time now.

“I was one of the Bananas in Pyjamas. I was B1 and my partner was B2, and 26 years later we’re still together.”

Evidently, home viewers quickly make some noise in twitter about their opinions.

Despite of this nostalgic feels for the viewers, Short still didn’t get enough votes from the audience in the auditorium.

After all, he believes that dancing was about making yourself and other people happy.“I just want to carry on dancing and have fun.”

Such a wonderful time to revisit your childhood memories and realize life back then was simple yet memorable.
